Taking a step forward.

Health is a crucial part of our human life.

Nowadays, I love drinking detox water. Mint and lemon is my favorite combination. They say watermelon, lemon and mint is also very good.
I can feel my digestive system getting healthier and healthier. (literally.)
But exercise is needed too. No matter how much detox water I drank, its not gonna get me anywhere near to good health if I don't watch my food intake.

Taking a step forward is a decision. How do I relate detox-things with this?

We can always be comfortable once we are in our comfort zone (detox water), however, we are not really dealing with the real issue (need of exercise).

At times, we think are we are doing things right.

But it occurred to me that doing the right things, doesn't make us right, if its not REALLY the right thing (even if we think its the right thing).
We human love to justify our actions. You can call it human nature.
Writing this post, I simply just want to share, remind myself & share it with everyone that- 
In our journey, taking a step forward in faith and obedience brings us a step up to maturity. (despite people may or may not agree with you.) [and its a personal thing anyway, so, look up and see God smiling down on you as you listen and obey.]

Let us inclined our ears closer to Him and obey.

First Fruit Gathering: 4-6 June

Sabah is known to be the land below the wind. I love Sabah. I thank God for putting me here. I always know that the birthplace of everyone is never a coincidence. (If things are coincidence, then our existence is a mistake. Coincidence means something that is not planned. Then, we are actually saying that God is a mistake!) No, God is SUPREME AND JUST. To begin to understand God fully is like trying to fit in the whole oceans into a small hole. Its impossible. Yet, this same God created us and called us His Precious! His thoughts toward us are so vast and mind-blowing. David said that in the book of Psalm : "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!"

Our God is intentional when He decided to create you and me. So that He can love us unconditionally. We are not an accident. Isn't that awesome? If I were to have children, I would make sure they know this foundation truth! I am thankful for a mother who intentionally told me about this truth as I was growing up.

So, all of us are placed on earth for a purpose and calling. Last month we have the second Malaysia Gathering in KL. The theme was First Fruit. During the pre-gathering, I felt an unspeakable excitement and burning in me because I know for sure God is going to do something that we have not expected. True enough, we entered into realm after realm that we have not entered before. The first day of the gathering, the first people of the land (Anak Negeri & Orang Asli) was presented before the Lord. Its amazing to see a lot of brothers and sisters in Christ among the Orang Asli, Chinese and Indians turned up. Its a family reunion! :)

The gathering starts on 4 June night, and it falls exactly on Pentecost! The leaders didn't know about this when they decided on the date. Holy Spirit came and swept us away for the next three days. Papa David shared about be careful when the enemy is trying to put us in a neutral zone, where we don't slip black nor move forward. This is what its called as the attack of dullness. I was reminded in Revelation 3:15 "I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were one or the other!" Nothing is more worse than being lukewarm. Also, there is an ancient sound in the land that the enemy has forgotten. This ancient sound is the voice of the Orang Asli and the Anak Negeri. Now is the time for this sound to rise up and take authority in the spiritual realm. The enemy fear this sound. We also offered up our first fruit offering which is our worship and praise as we consecrate ourselves before the Lord simply because He is worthy of all the praise!

On the second day of the gathering, spiritual groaning took place during worship. At first there was an intense silence but the moment the flute came in, people started to weep, travail, and groan in the spirit. Romans 8:26 says " We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." It was unexpected but Holy Spirit knows best. I personally also felt that the atmosphere of the convention centre is almost similar to a labor room. Something was birthed that day. 
There was a Scripture passage given to the people in Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia for 3 times. The leaders felt that if God is speaking about it for 3 times, it means something. This passage was Isaiah 54. Hence, all the leaders did a prophetic act of enlarging the tent, stretching the tent curtains wide, lengthening the cords, and strengthening the stakes. It speaks to the spiritual and spiritual realm that the land is no longer barren but it will be fruitful!

On the last day, 6 June 2014, it is a new day. It is a new season. The Lord has been leading us is an unusual way. We have not walked this way before. Papa David mentioned that we are in a season where many prophets are speaking of. This new thing, or season, is not only for Malaysia but for nations. However, because of Malaysia's role for nations, this is a pivotal and critical moment for Malaysia to enter into her destiny. We need to positioned ourselves before the Lord, like an army positioned themselves until their commander gives the command. As an army of God, we reported for duty. And because the things that we do speaks loudly in the spiritual realm, we need to make a sacrifice of faith that says "We believe!" When people of God began to see and hear with their spiritual eyes and ears, there will be a substance that will cause them to move forward.

"Behold! The bride of Malaysia is marching to the nations, following the Lion of Judah!"

Indeed, the gathering birthed something new in Malaysia. And whenever there's a new season, there's joy and wisdom, but there's also resistance. Therefore, the most important thing is to keep on track with God, fix our eyes upon Him and constantly be in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Lord, I report for duty.

p.s.- 6 June was also my baptism(or I prefer wedding) day. I was reminded of this only after the gathering.

A random post: One fact of me is that I think a lot. [And also talk A LOT when I'm with those I'm comfortable with. My former maid actually gave me a nickname which means talkative. Hah.] Sometimes so many thoughts are playing in my mind that most of the time I do not know how to speak it out orderly, which leads to being silent. Its kinda frustrating for me to be unable to speak out when you actually wanna say something. And sometimes these thoughts are so many and overwhelming that it can even confuse me.

But thank God for His Words. It says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we "fight to capture every thought until it acknowledges the authority of Christ." I listened to this scripture many times before but I couldn't really understand it or apply it practically. What was conceived in this mind of mine is that, most thoughts (except those that are clearly negative ones) are acceptable and debatable. Instead of our thoughts controlling us (and our actions), we are in control of them and we even have the power to block, allow and deny access into our mind. 

Then I'm reminded by Romans 12:2 where it talks about the renewal of mind that brings transformation. During my dark age (as how Debbie say it), I always give in to those discouraging thoughts. What I think basically begin to show in how I act and how I live. Now, it is still a constant battle. But thank God for His Words and revelation, I've learned to fight a good fight. It may seem hard at times but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

A day to bless Malaysia!

Last sunday, 16 September 2012, the whole body of Christ in KK and beyond witnessed and celebrated Malaysia Day together in two big, significant venues - Padang Merdeka & Stadium Likas.

Different venues with the same purpose - A day to bless Malaysia! =)

The morning service starts at 8AM in Padang M.

The praise & worship team, all dressed in their respective traditional attires, led the congregation into deep worship. A very meaningful, solemn morning service I would say. Because exactly 8AM, 49 years ago (16 September 1963), a very meaningful, solemn event has taken place in the same venue.

It was a very touching moment when Pastor Jerry prayed for the land and ask God for forgiveness for our past leaders. I thought I was the only one who got emotional on that. It turns out most of the others felt the same thing! And with so many young people who came and join together in prayer, worship and sitting under the hot burning sun was delightful as well. We even took the Lord's supper together at the end of the service! 

Watching the native leaders to take the lead and made strong, firm declarations of God's words upon the land and the people (everyone!) moved me into thinking - "This is gonna be historical. And we're all watching history in the making." 

Heaven watched. Angels watched. It was awesome!

The evening celebration was joyful and awesome as well! Energetic and passionate worship team. Tambouriners. Banner bearers. Flag bearers. Drummers. Shofarers. God is moving people!!

We had a scary weather the night before and we had some disturbances technically. But praise God! He is able to do all things! We had a great night of celebration and fireworks. =)

Witnessing different churches joining in together is simply amazing...! 

Over 10,000 people came. And I'm sure everyone is blessed to be a blessing.

I am in love. Period.

I had a great time recently in my prayer time. God has been faithful. There are so many things that He revealed to me. And i am so so SO much grateful. Indeed, i am in love with Jesus more than before. My life couldnt've been better without Him. 


Having Him in my life feels just... hmm..awesome... :)


Today is valentine's day. There are people who celebrate this day. Some don't. Some people even argued regarding this day. As for me, i have no feeling at all. It didn't bother me if i celebrate it or not...since i am already in love every day with Him. ^^ There's a verse in Scripture that says "I (God) have loved you with an everlasting love." What a wonderful statement!

Final holiday...

I call it my final holiday since next semester would be the final sem I will be facing. (time flies so fast~!)
But still, this holiday I would be going quite often to the lab to finish off my lab work for my thesis.

Debbie is coming back from KL tomorrow! Yeah~ can't wait! Although we had some plans, I'm just not gonna focus on them. Normally when you plan a lot on something, it would normally not go as planned. So imma just keep it low and casual. But ya, I'm excited! haha..

This holiday I'm planning on NOT going out as often as the holiday before. Just feel like spending time more at home and have quality moments with the family... Coz when semester starts, it would be like - packed schedule and more things to focus on. And also I'll be starting my internship in July 'till September. (praying that I'll get the right place to intern ^^).

This year is exciting for me. I would describe this year as - Exciting, clear, but uncertain. Coz still, its a journey of faith. I know God is leading me and I'm gonna believe in Him. Amen. =)

A brilliant story.

Professor: You are a Christian, aren’t you, son? Student: Yes, sir. Professor: So, you believe in God? Student: Absolutely, sir. Professor: Is God good? Student: Sure. Professor: My brother died of cancer, even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is God good, then? Hmm? (Student was silent) Professor: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good? Student: Yes. Professor: Is Satan good? Student: No. Professor: Where does Satan come from? Student: From.. God. Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world? Student: Yes. Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything. Correct? Student: Yes. Professor: So who created evil? (Student didn’t answer) Professor: Is there sickness? Immortality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they? Student: Yes, sir. Professor: So, who created them? (Student had no answer) Professor: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son.. have you ever seen God? Student: No, sir. Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your God. Student: No, sir. Professor: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God, for that matter? Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t. Professor: Yet you still believe in Him? Student: Yes. Professor: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, Science says your God doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son? Student: Nothing. I only have my Faith. Professor: Yes, Faith. And that is the problem Science has. Student: Professor, is there such a thing as Heat? Professor: Yes. Student: And is there such a thing as Cold? Professor: Yes. Student: No, sir, there isn’t. (The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events) Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of Heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it. (There was a pon-drop silence in the Lecture Theatre) Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness? Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness? Student: You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light… But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called Darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, You would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you? Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man? Student: Sir, my point is, your Philosophical Premise is flawed. Professor: Flawed? Can you explain how? Student: Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey? Professor: If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes of course, I do. Student: Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir? (The professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going) Student: Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher? (The class was in uproar) Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain? (The class broke out into laughter) Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? .. No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable and Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures? (The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable) Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on Faith, son. Student: That is it, sir.. exactly! The link between man and God is Faith. That is all that keeps things alive and moving! The student's name was Albert Einstein

Just feel like saying...

A story to tell:

"I lose this friend of mine recently (well, not physically). I'm not quite sure how to put it in proper words but it hurts. It happened informally. No words is said but action speaks louder than words. 

I'm dissapointed. But I'm not gonna blame that friend for what he's done. Its his right anyway."

Another story to tell:

"I have a friend. He is everything I could ever asked for. When I confide to him, he would listen. Eventhough I may sound boring to others but with him, its different. I never thought a person like that existed. Until I came to know him. What I'm typing now sounds so POETIC but I mean it. Each season in my life, he is there. Itsumo... All my hurts and joys I share with him. I know with him, I am secure. 

And most of all, he loves me. And I love him. Very much."

Here's the bottom line of both this stories:

Things may change. Friends may change. They may come and go. Lovers may come and go. Money may come and go (and vanish!). Beauty may come and go (and rot!). Brain@IQ may come and go (and slow as you get old!). My first story is saddening. He is a good friend but unfortunately we are not friends anymore. I let him go as an amigo. My second story is heart-lifting. He is a good friend eventhough I have not seen him yet. His name is Jesus. He remains the same, yesterday, today and forever...And I'm glad I found him.  ^^ Gaining and losing is the essential in life. But one verse I found that strengthen me is in Job 1:20-21

"Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, 

and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;

may the name of the Lord be praised.""

Job lose his properties and sons and daughters. In a nutshell, he lost his everything and even became very poor. But these are the first thing that came out from his mouth as a response to these situations. I just pray that as time gets by, I will understand what is it really mean by living by faith and not by sight.

YL camp (8-10 July '11)

We went to this camp only on the second day. We couldn't make it on the 8th. But thank God for His goodness and perfect timing that we can join the camp! I learned so much through this camp.

I really wanna share it to all but couldn't find the time to blog this down. Yet, here I am now seated in front of this lappy, eager to share/bless y'all... =)

(Imma do it in point form so it might appear clearer.)

1. Beragama@Bertuhan? (Religious@Godly?)

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. - John 3:6

The most important thing is not about denominations or religions, but its about having a personal relationship with God and truly knowing Him.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life! - John 3:16

Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we have become children of God. Everlasting life is more than heaven. It starts when one receive Christ! Everlasting life does not starts in heaven, its about knowing God (truly knowing Him) here on earth! It doesn't matter how long we live on earth, what's most important is the quality of life we lived for Him. (Quality not quantity.)

"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, 

the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you sent."

- John 17:3

2. God is a loving God, He's not a dictator.

At the camp, pastor shared about his testimony upon meeting someone who said to him (face to face) that God is a cruel God. He justified his saying by stating - that unless we believe in Jesus, we are doomed for hell. How cruel is God for asking us to believe first in order not to go to hell. In other words, he is saying that God is simply a dictator.

But pastor answered him wisely that he is wrong and will always be wrong because he is thinking with his human, fleshly mind. This was his reply to the man accusing God of being cruel:

We are already placed under punishment, not because we don't believe in Jesus but because of sin! 

Since the fall of mankind into sin, all human beings are doomed for hell. Whether we like it or not, we are already under God's punishment (di bawah hukuman). So God sent His only Son to redeem us so that we will not perish but have everlasting life! To believe in Jesus is not a torture or a death sentence, it is the only way out!

This makes me think for a moment after hearing pastor said all this. How many people have fallen into Satan's lies? This priceless truth I hope everyone will catch it and keep it in their mind and our God is a loving God, not the other way round. In 2009 I have been born again. Never even once I ever regret it. All of us who is in Him are His children. Amen? (Amen...)

Galatians 3:26-29

3. Obey obey and obey...

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee form you! 

James 4:7

Our mindset plays a vital role in directing the path we should take in life. We should want to live a healthy lifestyle, as God want us to live. Obedience to God makes us more mature in Him. The more we obey, the more we will get to know Him and the more we mature in Him. To obey God is to love Him. Many Christians have too much informations regarding the Word of God but there are very seldom fruits that one can see from that person's life. Impression without expression leads to depression! Too often we got ourselves impressed with the sermon by pastors and leaders but we do not put it into action. This will create depression within our inner man (Holy Spirit).

Apply the knowledges you gained and God will transform you and you will be submissive to His leading.

When we obey Him and His kingdom, we can fight the devil. Those who do not submit to God finds it very hard to fight the devil! Satan is powerless. He is a CREATED being and his power are lying and deception (penipuan). That's why he is called as "the father of all lies". We have the power given from God to fight against satan. But first we have to change our mindset that we are victorious & have the power to resist the devil. Stop living in defeat because its all been done by Jesus on that cross 2011 years ago! The devil is afraid of Jesus' blood.

When we realise that we're actually in a battlefield and not a playground, we will become more aware of our role in Christ! To fight against satan, we must know, understand and memorize God's Words.

4. Draw near to God...

"Come near to God and he will come near to you. 

Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

- James 4:8

Once we take the initiative to draw near to God, He will surely draw near to us. Wherever we go, always remember God. Talk to Him wherever you go. (pray without ceasing)

Also, in order to totally focus on God we must not let the desires of our hearts drown us and bind us in chains.

5. Live by faith, not by sight.

As the children of Israel goes out from Egypt and into the promised land (but first through the desert), they complain and murmur among themselves. As the result of their action of disobedience, they did not go into the promised land that God promised them. Only Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land because of their faith in God. Read Numbers 13-14.

Complaining is a silent killer that kills severely. And in this case, their complains kills and cancel out God's promise for them. This apply for us even today! Whether we notice it or not, we have the power to cancel out God's promises in our life. Gossip is the major disease that spreads so easily nowadays. God hates gossip and so should we as His children. So don't miss out and never take God for granted! We should want to see how God looks at us and not how people look at us because at the end of our life, it will all down to between you and God. 

Let's pray for God's protection upon us and continue strengthening us according to His ways!
